Preparation is so important.

In the lead up.

I have curated a list of my favourite products to get your hair in the best condition for your big day. Switching to professional products will enable me to give you the best hair on the day.

On the day.

The better you prep, the more time I have to create your dream hair.

My preference is to work with freshly shampooed hair. This means I can work through my favourite products and blow dry them in for maximum longevity.

How to shampoo best:

I recommend doing 2 thorough shampoos to ensure clean and product-free.
Really concentrate at the nape/underneath and around the ears.
Please do not use hotel shampoo. I can bring a shampoo with me if needed.

How to condition best:

You can condition your ends but avoid the roots and rinse well.
No heavy conditioning treatments and please do not use the hotel conditioner.

Do’s

Keep your hair in a towel or loose bun to keep wet - I will always have a water spray with me to dampen back down.

Wear a button down shirt, gown or pjs but remember - if you want a low bun try to avoid anything with a high collar as it may disrupt the style once done.

Don’ts

Avoid blow drying as this can cause static when I blow dry your hair during your appointment, which is really hard to work with.

Avoid applying product. We can talk about what you normally use, but my preference is to use my products because I have picked them for the best results! (Unless you have any allergies etc).
